Irrigation Winterization
Hometown Lawn, LLC agrees to provide the service of purging water with compressed air for the agreed upon fee between HTL and Owner. Payment is due at the time of service. Payable by Cash, Check or Charge online at http://www.hometownlawn.com/pay-online/
HTL agrees to enter the system at the point known to be the nearest possible entry to the water source with our equipment typically used. Air inside the house in not considered possible. HTL will cycle system at least twice when the system allows.
It is possible for defective/aged valves to not close completely at the time of service. If this is the case, and goes unnoticed, the failed valve may allow for water to re-enter the system over time and could cause damage. This is not considered a negligent act of service by HTL.
For best results, have Hometown Lawn, LLC out to turn your system on in the Spring to be assured that the health of the system is the best it can be.
Verticut – Rake – Seed – Fertilize
Every attempt at performing the verticut in two directions shall be made. Terrain and obstacles may require judgement decisions made by the machine operator on behalf of Hometown Lawn, LLC. If it is not possible or feasible to go in two directions final determination shall be made by the machine operator on behalf of Hometown Lawn, LLC
Seed provided and placed by Hometown Lawn, LLC is commonly purchased from The Grass Pad. It is possible the Grass Pad brand may be substituted by an equal or greater quality brand ie. John Deere Landscapes brands.
Hometown Lawn, LLC holds no guarantees to the growth success of the seed provided to us by the client. Germination success may be related to any part of the seed or its quality, brand, age or type. We strongly suggest purchasing our seed option at the time of service.
Thatch, also known as the “by-product”, produced by the action of verticutting/dethatching shall be placed in paper yard waste bags provided by HTL and left on-site to be disposed of by client.
Any yard components not marked by the client prior to authorized date of service acceptance and damaged shall be the responsibilty of the client to repair. HTL can not be held liable or responsible for damage done to unmarked components. Components are, but not limited to, irrigation, drainage or other underground networks or obstacles.
Irrigation Systems – New Install
Hometown Lawn puts forth an honest effort to make as little disruption as possible to your lawn when installing a new irrigation system. There will be several holes dug and pipes pulled and placed throughout the lawn. These areas are filled back to the best of our ability. It is common for lawn restoration to NOT be included in the bid of an irrigation system. If you would like that to be addressed, please bring it up and we can add it in for an additional charge.
While construction of your new system is occurring, it may be necessary to leave equipment and ground openings overnight. Holes deeper than approximately 12″ will be marked with CAUTION tape.
Once beginning a new irrigation system, it is with every intent that once work has begun, it will be finished in a timely fashion. Consecutive work days are always the intent, however, it may occur that a day or more may need to be skipped on a project. This is an uncommon event. We commonly have an average home system completely installed within 3 working days.
Quotes do not include ANY permit fees unless specifically noted in estimate.
—NEW IRRIGATION WARRANTY—
New irrigation systems installed by Hometown Lawn come with a standard two (2) years full parts and labor warranty.
